Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Madison

Pacesetter Construction conducted a roof inspection at 203 Boston Post Road for Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Madison, CT in the spring of 2022. The building is a Kirby pre-engineered building with a metal screw down roof. The area of roof inspected is 70’ x 110’ (7,700sf). The roof has been coated in the past and a new roof is recommended based on its existing condition. Pacesetter Construction priced three different solutions which included removing and replacing the existing roof and insulation.

The second was to install a Roof Hugger build up system and fill the cavity with 3” of insulation to increase the R Value and install new roof over the structural build up. Lastly, we quote going over the existing roof with new Retro R roof panels.

There are several advantages to using this method over other solutions currently on the market. The first and foremost is weight. Second is when used in the right application this system is far more cost effective than the other two solutions mentioned. The Retro R solution carries the same warranty as the other two methods.

The gutters and downspouts were also replaced and flashing was installed between the two building for water tightness.
