110 Commerce Street, East Haven

Pacesetter Construction  completed an office redesign and interior fit out in East Haven including an expanded conference room, bullpen area for cubicles, restroom facilities, lockers and a lunchroom.

In December of 2020 Pacesetter was contacted by Shultz Electric, also known as Timken Philadelphia Gears, who has been a long time client of ours. They asked us to visit several buildings they were considering leasing. We toured the facilities to advise which one better suited their budget from a construction stand point. After the East Haven location was selected, drawings were produced and a quotation was established. In April 2021 Pacesetter started the removal of the existing office and built a new office area to suit their needs.

Our design team came up with a solution to redesign the entire office space and build a conference room out past the existing office and into the shop area. The wall facing out into the shop area would contain 4’ x 15’ glass windows looking out into the shop area. This design concept impressed our customer. The conference room is also used by customers as a temporary office and the windowed view out into the shop put a nice touch to the project.

The renovation began in May of 2021. The new office area is 5,600sf  and includes new offices, a bullpen area for cubicles, men’s and women’s bathrooms, men’s and women’s handicapped bathrooms, locker room and lunch room. We also built a blast room and decontamination room in the shop area.

Pacesetter Construction acted as the General Contractor for all the new fit out work. The Electrical work included high efficiency LED lighting with dimmers, fire alarm system and data cable networking. New energy efficient HVAC systems replaced the older units and new LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) flooring was installed.

Work was completed in early July 2021. The project was completed on time and on budget. Pacesetter is continuing to work with the client in the shop area.
