This Butler Building in Milford, CT was hit by a large vehicle, causing extensive damage to the walls, insulation, one existing building column and an interior bathroom. Pacesetter assisted the client by providing a repair estimate for their insurance company and then was hired to perform the repair. The repair started with the immediate temporary support of the damaged column to keep the building secure until the replacement column could be engineered and fabricated. Once the column and other materials arrived, Pacesetter Construction removed the old column and replaced it. All the damaged girts around impact were also replaced as well as the insulation. Pacesetter then finished the repair by installing new 26ga Butler Rib wall panels with base and eave trim.

Our client purchased this 40-year-old manufacturing building which was overdue for repair. Our scope of work for this renovatuon project was to remove all the existing insulation, metal wall panels, trims, damaged girts, trims, jambs, head trims and new gutters and downspouts. All components were replaced with new parts. Pacesetter installed new insulation to bring the building to code and 26ga PBR metal wall panels with new girts, trims, jambs and head trims, and we Pacesetter installed new gutters and downspouts. In the end, a building that was in dire need of renovation came out looking like a brand-new building, more energy efficient and ready for another 40 years of productivity.
